Obamacare’s first 2014 enrollment started from 1st October, 2013 and remained open till 31st March, 2014. Obamacare enrollment is the only time in a year when you can apply for a new health insurance plan or switch to any other insurance plan. - In 2017 – The enrollment period was open from 1st November, 2016 to 31st January, 2017.
- So far, all the dates have been extended. Thus, the dates for following years are expected to be extended as well.
